The Miami Dolphins have signed Tyreek Hill to a four-year, $120 million contract, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history, according to ESPN.

In addition to the first-round pick, Kansas City will also receive second and fourth-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, as well as fourth and sixth-round picks in the 2023 draft.

According to sources, Hill’s departure from Kansas City was hastened after contract negotiations went down. It was revealed on Wednesday that the Dolphins, New York Jets, and Green Bay Packers were all interested in signing him, but it was Miami who prevailed in the end.

Despite being drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has played a critical role in the team’s recent success, helping the Chiefs to four straight AFC Championship games and their first Super Bowl title since 2010.

With six seasons in the league under his belt, he’s a three-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler.

Since joining the Chiefs in 2007, he has amassed 479 career receptions for 6,630 yards, 56 touchdowns, and a further 719 yards on the ground.

In 2021, Hill accounted for 111 receptions for 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns.
