Meet Michael A. Scully and Cat Scully

Michael Scully, Vin Scully’s oldest child, was killed in a helicopter crash at the age of 33. He was an employee of ARCO Transportation.

Due to the Northridge earthquake in January 1994, he used to check oil pipelines for leaks close to Fort Tejon, California.

He was devastated after his passing, but even more, devastated because he had already lost his wife Joan to a drug overdose.

The loss of his two dearest loved ones was too much for him to bear.

He was a devoted Roman Catholic who resorted to his faith to help him cope with the loss of his wife and son
