Vincente Minnelli was born to Italian-born artist Vincent Minnelli and French Canadian artist Mina Le Beau and given the less extraordinary name of Lester Anthony Minnelli; further down the road, he took his dad’s name, reestablishing it to its Italian structure.

The Minnelli Brothers Mighty Dramatic Company Under Canvas went all through the Midwest, and Lester was performing in front of an audience when he could stand.

Ultimately, his mom and father got comfortable in Delaware, Ohio, however, Lester moved to Chicago after he moved on from secondary school, wanting to look for employment as a craftsman.

Minnelli’s first job was assisting with planning window shows at the monster retail chain Marshall Field and Company; he went to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago around evening time.
