Born on February 23, 1957, Virginia “Ginni” Lamp Thomas is a 65-year-old conservative activist and attorney in the United States.

She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and married Associate Justice Clarence Thomas of the United States Supreme Court in 1987.

Her conservative views and involvement have made her a divisive figure, especially because Supreme Court justices’ wives are usually kept out of politics.

Thomas began her career as a legislative assistant to Representative Hal Daub.

She worked for the US Chamber of Commerce after graduating from Creighton University School of Law. She went on to work for the United States Department of Labor and for Representative Dick Armey’s assistant.

She joined The Heritage Foundation as a White House Liaison between the think tank and President George W. Bush’s administration in 2000.

Thomas founded Liberty Central, a Tea Party-affiliated conservative political advocacy organization, in 2009. Liberty Consulting was created by her in 2010.

Thomas was a staunch supporter of Donald Trump during his presidency, recommending candidates to the Trump administration through her work with the conservative Groundswell group.

Thomas gave an early social media encouragement to Trump’s rally in the run-up to the 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

Her support for the demonstration came before the violence, and she later apologized for causing a split between Clarence Thomas’s former Supreme Court clerks.
