Anthony Bourdain was an American celebrity chef, author, and travel documentarian who starred in programs focusing on the exploration of international culture, cuisine, and the human condition.
Anthony Michael Bourdain was brought into the world in Manhattan on June 25, 1956. His mom was Gladys (née Sacksman), and his dad was Pierre Bourdain. His more youthful sibling, Christopher, was conceived a couple of years later.
Anthony grew up living with both of his folks, and depicted his youth in one of his books: “I didn’t need for adoration or consideration.

His dad was Catholic and his mom Jewish. Bourdain expressed that, however, he was viewed as Jewish according to Judaism, “I’ve never been in a temple. I don’t trust in a higher power.
In any case, that doesn’t make me any less Jewish, I don’t think.” His family was not strict by the same token.
At the hour of Bourdain’s debut to the world, Pierre was a sales rep at a New York City camera store, as well as a story administrator at a record store.
