Jamal Edwards MBE was a British music entrepreneur, DJ and founder of the online R&B/Hip-Hop platform SB.TV.  Edwards was an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, a youth charity which helps young people set up their own businesses.

The music entrepreneur was born in Luton, United Kingdom to his mother by the name of  Brenda Edwards.

He was very active from the year 2016 till his death in 2022.

The businessman was the founder of SBTV – an online media platform to discover emerging artists. It launched in 2006 and has helped to launch the careers of many artists including Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Stormzy and Emeli Sandé.

Jamal is known to have many nicknames includingSmokeyBarz; Jamal Artman and is also best known as the founder of SB.TV.

He is known to have also had an interest in fashion as he had a headwear collection on Topman.
