Stephen Thomas Ridings is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2021.

Born on August 14, 1995 (age 26 years), in Commack, New York, in the United States of America, Stephen Ridings is said to have a height of 2.03m.

Ridings attended St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, New York. and played college baseball at Haverford College.



He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the eighth round of the 2016 MLB draft.

What Happened to Stephen Ridings?

On March 9, 2019, the Cubs traded him to the Kansas City Royals for Donnie Dewees. The Royals released Ridings in November 2020. Ridings signed a minor league contract with the New York Yankees prior to the 2021 season.

After the 2020 minor league season was cancelled, Ridings worked out on his own, paying the bills by selling sports equipment and teaching chemistry as a substitute teacher at the Palm Beach Maritime Academy in Lantana, Florida.
