What is Easter Called Around the World?

Easter as we all know is a commemorative relief and remark of Christ’s suffering on the cross to atone for our sins. People from all over the world celebrate the festive at their various places of residence.

And how people celebrate in one country differs from another country. Many people refer to it in many ways. The festive season makes it enjoyable when family and friends come together to make merry and enjoy beautiful holiday moments.

What is Easter Called Around the World?

Easter in the Greek accent or language means or is also called Pascha. Some places or countries worldwide also called it Resurrection Sunday. 

It still commemorates Jesus’ rising from the dead, portrayed in the New Testament as occurring on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary in c. 30 AD, regardless of how it is called in other countries who have a different name perspective about it.

Easter week is all observed as a holiday. It usually begins on Palm Sunday the marking of the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem. The celebration goes on across the entire world where everyone takes some weeks off to spend some quality time with their families and loved ones.
