Luke Barker (born March 11, 1992) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers.



Barker attended Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, California where he grew up. He was a four-year member of the Chico State baseball team.

After breaking a school record with 18 saves as a junior and repeating as an All-CCAA selection after finishing 4–3 with a 1.73 ERA in 11 starts as a senior, Barker was selected first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and first-team Division II All-American.



Barker was undrafted in the 2015 MLB draft and signed with the Frontier League’s Traverse City Beach Bums. On November 28, 2016, he was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers.

Barker spent 2017 with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers before being promoted to the Carolina Mudcats in Class A-Advanced. After a 6–4 record, 20 saves, and a 2.21 ERA in 2018, he was awarded the Carolina League Relief Pitcher of the Year.

To begin the 2019 season, Barker was sent to the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers, where he pitched to a 1.48 ERA in 23 appearances and was named a Southern League All-Star before being promoted to the Triple-A San Antonio Missions. For the 2021 season, Barker returned to Triple-A with the Nashville Sounds.
