What Team Does Ryan Rolison Play For?

Ryan Rolison is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization. The pandemic that prompted the cancellation of the minor league season in 2020 was COVID-19. As a result, he did not participate in any minor league games that year.

Rolison started the 2021 campaign with the Double-A Northeast Hartford Yard Goats after being traded to another team.

After making three starts and posting a record of 2-1 with an earned run average of 3.07, he was elevated to the Albuquerque Isotopes of the Triple-A West.

After having his appendix removed on June 14, he was put on the injured list and has been there since. It was anticipated that he would return at the beginning of August; however, while fielding balls he fractured a bone in his left hand, which delayed his return.

Later on, during that same month, he was put into active duty. Rolison finished his time with the Isotopes with a record of 2-2, a 5.91 earned run average, 452 1/3 innings pitched, and 45 strikeouts.

After the conclusion of the season, Rolison joined the Tigres del Licey of the Dominican Professional Baseball League to begin his professional baseball career.

The Rockies signed Rolison to their 40-man roster and exercised their option to buy out Rolison’s contract on November 19, 2021.
