Robert Stephenson is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Cincinnati Reds.

Against the Missoula Osprey on June 19, 2012, Stephenson made his professional debut with the Billings Mustangs. He threw five innings, allowing three hits, one walk, and one unearned run while striking out eight.

Before making his major league debut, he spent five full seasons in the minors, climbing the Reds’ organizational ladder.

Then, he started for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos of the AA Southern League, where he had a 7-10-4.74 record in 27 games in 2014 while going 7-7, 2.99 in 2013 while splitting time between three different clubs.

He pitched for the AAA Louisville Bats and Pensacola Pirates in 2015, going 8-11 with a 3.83 era. On April 7, 2016, against the Philadelphia Phillies, Stephenson made his major league debut as a starter for the Cincinnati Reds.
