Where did Christian Arroyo go to College?

Christian Arroyo from his high days at Hernando High School was supposed to attend the University of Florida and play college baseball but instead, he signed with the Giants and never made it to college.

Because the infielder has already committed to the University of Florida, he must select a choice. He has the option of signing with the Giants or attending college to boost his draft position.

Baseball America placed Arroyo No. 102, and ESPN’s Keith Law ranked him No. 99. (Insider Access needed).

In three of the last four drafts, San Francisco has selected a position player with the first overall choice. The squad must now select a position for the infielder to play.

In 45 games with the Arizona League Giants, Arroyo hit .326/.388/.511 with two home runs and 39 RBIs. He won the Arizona League MVP award for his efforts.
