Hanser Joel Alberto Peña, professionally known as Hanser Alberto happens to be a professional baseball player from the Dominican Republic. He plays as an infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. He earns an annual salary of $1.6 million per his contract with the Dodgers.



He was born on October 17, 1992, in San Francisco de Macoris in the Dominican Republic. The Texas Rangers signed him as an international free agent in November 2009. He was given $75,000 as a signing bonus. He made his professional debut in 2010 with the Dominican Summer Rangers of the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League.

He played for the Frisco RoughRiders of the Class AA Texas League in 2013 but was promoted during the season to the major leagues. He made his MLB debut for the Rangers on May 29, 2015, when the Rangers played against the Boston Red Sox. He was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles at the beginning of the 2019 season.

In February that same year, he was claimed by the San Francisco Giants but returned to the Orioles in March. The Kansas City Royals signed him in January 2021 on a minor league contract. In March 2022, the Los Angeles Dodgers signed him on a one-year contract worth $1.6 million.
