Jon William Embree is an American football coach and former player who is the Assistant Head coach & tight ends coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League.

He is a former head coach at Colorado. Before that Jon was the tight ends coach for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.

Born on  October 15, 1965 (age 56 years), in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America Jon began his high school education at Cherry Creek; (Greenwood Village, Colorado) where he played high school football.

Jon and his wife Natalyn have three children, Hannah, Taylor, a former wide receiver at UCLA, and Connor, a former wide receiver at UNLV.

Embree is the son of former NFL player John Embree, who played flanker/wide receiver for the Denver Broncos in 1969 and 1970.
