Who is Whit Merrifield?

Whit Merrifield is an  American professional baseball second baseman and outfielder for the Kansas City Royals

Merrifield was selected in the ninth round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Kansas City Royals in 2011 and debuted with the Burlington Bees that same season.

He had a.253/.317/.409 batting line in 47 games, with five home runs and 26 RBIs as well as hit .262 with five home runs and 36 RBIs while playing for the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 2011.



He batted .258 with nine home runs and 44 RBIs in 125 games for both Wilmington and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in 2012.

He hit .270/.319/.391 with three home runs and 43 RBIs in 94 games with Northwest Arkansas in 2013.

Merrifield has only missed four games in the last two seasons and has 1,442 plate appearances. He has appeared in at least six games at every fielding position except shortstop and catcher during his career.

Kissy is said to have also been a sports person as she began to play tennis since her mother was a tennis coach.

She was said to have picked up a racket, taken a few swings, and around the age of 9, she was playing in state tournaments and was able to won ten state tournaments in South Carolina.
