Javon Alexander Mack is an American football center for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He played college football for the University of California and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns 21st overall in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Born on November 19, 1985 (age 36 years), in Santa Barbara, California, in the  United States of America and attended high school at the  San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, where he was named the Channel League’s Co-Most Valuable Player on defense and earned a first-team all-league selection.

Mack played for the California Golden Bears football team while attending the University of California, Berkeley.

Mack was the highest-ranked center available in the 2009 NFL Draft, with Sports Illustrated projecting him as a first- or second-round pick.

Alex  signed a three-year deal worth $14.85 million. Mack’s base salary of $1.425 is guaranteed in 2021. His prorated bonus of $3.675 is also guaranteed, but that’s prorated throughout the three-year deal.
