James Winchester is an American football long snapper for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Oklahoma.

Winchester was endorsed by the Kansas City Chiefs on March 13, 2015. On January 23, 2017, Winchester marked a five-year, $4.45 million agreement augmentation with the Chiefs.



On September 17, 2017, in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Winchester constrained a mishandle on a Darren Sproles dropkick return. The mishandle was recuperated by colleague Anthony Sherman and aided in putting forth up a field objective scoring drive.

Paco Balderrama said the airport was shut down after receiving a call around 1 p.m. local time due to “shots fired in the parking lot area of the airport.”

Michael Winchester was an employee at Southwest Airlines. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma, serving as the team’s punter from 1984 to 1986, appearing in 36 games over that span.
