Adam Kolarek is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers.
He also threw six innings for the Binghamton Mets, going 2–0 with a 5.68 ERA in those games. That year, he was named an All-Star by MiLB.com and a Post-Season All-Star by the Florida State League.
That year, he was St. Lucie’s leading scorer and finisher in games. He had the most saves in the league. For the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League, he had an earned run average (ERA) of 2.92 in nine appearances.
In 44 games for Binghamton in 2013, he went 3–3 with a 1.71 ERA. He also had an 11.25 ERA in two appearances for the Las Vegas 51s in his first taste of Triple-A.
During the 2014 spring training season, he spent time with the major league team. Even though he pitched for the Gigantes de Carolina in the Puerto Rican Winter League, he posted an ERA of 6.07 in 48 outings for Binghamton during the regular season that year. Binghamton was his first stop of the year in 2015.
On October 23, 2015, the Baltimore Orioles signed Kolarek to a minor league deal and assigned him to the Double-A Bowie Baysox.
