Terry Bradden joined the Chiefs in 2021 as an assistant defensive line coach following three years as the defensive quality control coach (2018-20) and one year as a defensive assistant (2017).

Bradden worked with the defensive line in 2020, which included Pro Bowlers DT Chris Jones and DE Frank Clark, who led the team in sacks with 7.5 and 6.0, correspondingly.

For the second time in his career, Jones was chosen to the AP All-Pro second team, and he finished the season as Pro Football Analysis’ foremost graded defensive lineman in 2020.

Bradden spent the 2016 season as a quarterback graduate assistant at Bethune Cookman University before joining the Chiefs. That year, he was named to the American Football Coaches Association’s first top 30 under 30 class.

In college, Bradden was a quarterback. He spent his first two years at Howard University before transferring to Tuskegee University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. Christopher is his only child.
