Jorge León “Nene” Araneta is well-known in the Philippines. He is the CEO of the Araneta Group of Companies, which engages in real estate development, hotel and lodging, dining and food service, entertainment and leisure, and beauty and philanthropy. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of the Philippines Diliman, where he was a member of the Upsilon Sigma Phi fraternity, he enrolled at De La Salle University in Manila.

He worked closely with his father during his adolescent years after finishing college.
