Patrick Lavon Mahomes II is an American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. The son of former Major League Baseball pitcher Pat Mahomes, he initially played college football and college baseball at Texas Tech University.
Born on September 17, 1995 (age 26 years), Tyler, Texas, United States of America Patrick began his education at the Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas. He played football, baseball, and basketball. Mahomes believes that training pitching and playing basketball improved his quarterback skills. In football, he had 4,619 passing yards, 50 passing touchdowns, 948 rushing yards, and 15 rushing touchdowns as a senior.
