After winning a Major doubles championship at the 2022 Australian Open and then making it to the semifinals in Miami, both times with Thanasi Kokkinakis as his partner, he attained his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 29 on March 21, 2022.

This was his first victory in a Major doubles tournament.

During his junior career, Kyrgios won the boys’ singles competition at the 2013 Australian Open, as well as the boys’ doubles competition at the 2012 French Open, the 2012 Wimbledon Championships, and the 2013 Wimbledon Championships.

He also won the boys’ singles competition at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships.

In his professional career, he has defeated Rafael Nadal, who was ranked number one in the world at the time, to get to the quarterfinals of two major singles tournaments, namely the Wimbledon Championships in 2014 and the Australian Open in 2015.

Kyrgios is only the third player, following Dominik Hrbat and Lleyton Hewitt, to have defeated each member of the Big Three (Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal) the very first time he played each of them.

Dominik Hrbat and Lleyton Hewitt are the only other two players to have accomplished this feat. Kyrgios is a player who has garnered a reputation as the ‘bad boy’ of tennis due to his provocative behavior.

According to Tennishead magazine, he has been penalized more than any other player in the history of the ATP for his disrespectful behavior while competing on the court.

His behavior has included cursing, breaking his racket, getting into altercations with both the crowd and the umpires, and even hurling a chair.

What Happened to Nick Kyrgios?
