Paul Campbell is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.

At the end of her senior year, Campbell Malden Catholic High School, in Malden, Massachusetts, graduated with honors.

He played college baseball for the Clemson Tigers from 2015 to 2017 while attending Clemson University. Campbell was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 21st round of the 2017 MLB draft.

Campbell finished the year with an 8–4 record and a 3.36 earned run average (ERA) with 63 strikeouts in 85+2/3 innings of work in 16 appearances with the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits.

Through the 2019 season, Campbell had a 3.12 ERA in 233+1/3 minor league innings for the Rays in three seasons.

The Rays picked Campbell in the 2020 Rule 5 draft by the Miami Marlins. To kick off the 2021 campaign, the Marlins selected Campbell to their Opening Day roster. Against the Tampa Bay Rays, Campbell made his Major League Baseball debut on April 3, 2021.

On May 1, he made his MLB debut. Campbell was suspended for 80 games on May 3, 2021, after testing positive for Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone in violation of MLB’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
