Jordan Robert Romano is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Toronto Blue Jays (MLB). He was born in the province of Ontario, Canada, on April 21, 1993.
Romano attended Father Michael McGivney Catholic Academy in Markham, Ontario, where he grew up. As a brilliant athlete, he lettered in baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. After being undrafted out of high school, he attended Connors State College.
The Toronto Blue Jays selected Anthony Romano in the tenth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. Romano tore his ulnar collateral ligament and had Tommy John surgery during spring training for the 2015 season.
