Sonny William Williams is a former professional rugby league and rugby union player from New Zealand. He is a heavyweight boxer. He has 58 caps for New Zealand (the All Blacks) and was a member of the 2011 and 2015 World Cup-winning teams. He has boxed seven times professionally, winning all of his heavyweight fights.

Williams was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on August 3, 1985, to a Samoan father and a half-New Zealander mother. He grew up in a statehouse in the Auckland neighbourhood of Mount Albert, where he was born into a working-class family.

He was a “small, slender white kid” who was “painfully shy” as a child, as well as “a remarkable sporting skill” and a champion high jumper and cross country runner.

Williams is the first rugby league player to be named a worldwide ambassador for Adidas, and he was placed 41st in SportsPro magazine’s 2014 list of the 50 most marketable sportsmen. Williams visited Lebanon alongside Mike McRoberts in December 2015 as a UNICEF ambassador to raise awareness about the plight of Syrian refugee children.

Who is Sonny Bill Williams’ Wife Alana Raffie?

Williams was previously linked to Jamie Ridge, a New Zealand socialite and reality TV star. It has been stated that he is dating Alana Raffie, a wannabe model from Sydney with South African ancestry.

This week, Williams, 28, shared two images of the happy couple, one of which showed the couple snuggling on a couch. Williams met Alana Raffie at a retail store where she worked in 2013.

Because Alana is a Muslim, they followed Islamic traditions and married one month after the meeting. They now have four children together, and the 36-year-old credits his days as a womanizer to their commitment to Islam.
