In two seasons A.J. Terrell has made a name for himself in the NFL, and although he has been a part of the Falcons roster for three years, this season he is finally having the breakout year that many people thought he would have. From shining at cornerback to performing well on special teams, Terrell’s level of play continues to improve with each game.

Aundell Terrell is a football player for the Atlanta Falcons who enjoys singing and playing football in his spare time. He was born in 1998 and raised by two parents, both first-generation Americans.

A.J Terrell, who is from Dallas Texas, started his college career at the University of Central Florida. He was an undrafted free agent signing in 2016 and signed a 1 year deal with the team.

In his first season with the Atlanta Falcons, he played in 16 games and finished tied for 8th place on the team for total tackles with 65 Tackles, He also finished inside the top 20 for interceptions on the team tied for 4th with 2.

At age 28, A.J. Terrell is the NFL’s best red-zone cornerback, per BACON updating his numbers from last season to this one with the Jets defense he did his best to try and stop DeAndre Hopkins for their week 4 matchup.

Over the first 4 weeks, which is a minimal amount of games to judge a cornerback with, Terrell is leading all cornerbacks in Redzone success rate, limiting opposing receivers to an unsustainable 36% success rate, while only allowing 5 completions all season long in the Redzone. That translates to an astounding 1.50 points allowed per snap in the red zone.
