Will Grier is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL).

He played college football at Florida and West Virginia and was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the third round in the 2019 NFL Draft.

On April 6, 2016, Grier disclosed that he would be moving on to West Virginia University to continue his education.

As a result of NCAA transfer restrictions, he was required to sit out the 2016 season. Grier was the presumptive starter for West Virginia heading into the 2017 season.

Dana Holgerson, the head coach at West Virginia, made the announcement on June 20, 2017, that Grier had been granted a waiver by the NCAA, and that he would be allowed to play in the first game of the season, which was against Virginia Tech.

Grier played in his debut game with the Mountaineers, which was a loss to Virginia Tech by a score of 31–24. In that game, he threw for 371 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception.

On October 14, Grier led his team to a come-from-behind victory over Texas Tech, which was ranked No. 24 at the time, and was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for his performance. He threw for 352 yards and five touchdowns.
