Zach Plesac

Zach Plesac is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2019.

He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 12th round of the 2016 MLB draft and signed for $100,000 on June 29, 2016, although he did not play in 2016.

After making seven appearances for the Class A Short Season Mahoning Valley Scrappers in 2017, he was promoted to the Class A Lake County Captains, where he concluded the season with a 1–1 record and a 3.60 ERA in six starts. He began his professional career in the minor leagues in 2017.

Plesac had a combined 11–6 record with a 3.79 ERA in 26 starts with the Class A Advanced Lynchburg Hillcats and the Double-A Akron RubberDucks in 2018.

A year later, he was promoted to the Columbus Clippers in early May after returning to Akron for the start of 2019.
