The American actor Jack Lee Ging is best known for his roles as General Harlan “Bull” Fulbright on The A-Team and as a supporting character in the final season of Tales of Wells Fargo, which starred Dale Robertson.
Jack Lee Ging passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 90, in Palm Springs, California. Jack was married to Katie Ging “straight out of high school,” but the cause of his death has not yet been made public.
With her, he had one child. He married Gretchen Graening on April 19, 1956, following their divorce. In September 1973, they divorced and had a son together.
Ging got married to Sharon Ramona Thompson in Los Angeles on September 23, 1978. The couple had two daughters.
The show’s antagonist General Harlan “Bull” Fullbright, played by Ging, finds out that the soldiers of fortune were heroes rather than villains. When Fullbright was shot in the back while on a rescue mission to save his daughter, his on-screen identity was eliminated.
It was a children’s show. Ging worked primarily in the television industry, making appearances as a guest star on series like Bat Masterson, The Roaring 20s, The Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Hawaii Five-O.
He jokingly remarked in an interview, “They shot 10,000 machine guns from every roof and tossed bombs and grenades, yet nobody ever got killed – except me.
