Amy Beth Schumer is an actress and stand-up comedian from the United States. In the early 2000s, she dabbled in comedy before appearing on the fifth season of the NBC reality competition series Last Comic Standing in 2007.
She created, co-produced, co-wrote, and starred in the Comedy Central sketch comedy series Inside Amy Schumer from 2013 to 2016, for which she won a Peabody Award and was nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Variety Sketch Series in 2015.
Schumer created and starred in Trainwreck (2015), for which she won Writers Guild of America Award nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.
