Meet Jan Tadeusz Duda
Jan Tadeusz Duda is a local government official and a Polish electrical engineer.
Jan Tadeusz Duda is a Professor of technical sciences, a full professor at Kraków’s AGH University of Science and Technology Stanisaw Staszic, and chairman of the 6th term of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship Council.
Andrzej Duda is his son who is also the President of the Republic of Poland.
He graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology with a degree in electrical engineering in 1973.
He worked at the Oil and Gas Institute in Krakow as an automation engineer after graduation. His alma institution awarded him his degree in 1977.
He worked at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science, and Electronics at AGH from 1977 to 2004 in the Department of Automatic Control.
Jan Duda married Janina Milewska in 1970. Andrzej Duda, a lawyer, and politician who was elected President of the Republic of Poland in 2015 and 2020 is their son. Anna and Dominika are their two daughters.

In 1990, she received her habilitation from the Wrocaw University of Technology based on an appraisal of her scientific achievements and the dissertation titled ” Mathematical model of the equilibrium states of the process of sorption of low-molecular compounds in hard coal “.
In 2001, she was appointed professor of chemical sciences. She was a lecturer at AGH’s Faculty of Energy and Fuels’ Department of Fuel Technology.
She has been married to Jan Duda since 1970.
