According to Annabell Guadalupe Rodriguez’s distraught father, it has been verified that she was one of the victims slain in the mass shooting that took place at a Texas elementary school.
At least 19 students and two instructors were murdered when the suspected shooter, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, opened fire on Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, a tiny working-class town close to the border with Mexico. Ramos was arrested and charged with capital murder.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said on Wednesday that all of the victims were slain inside of a single classroom.
Both Annabell Guadalupe Rodriguez, who was in the third grade, and her cousin, whose identity has not been revealed at this time, were shot and killed inside of their classroom.
The search for Annabell had continued far into the late afternoon on Tuesday her father said. When he was speaking to KHOU11, he expressed his regret that no one knew where she was.
At the time, he stated that they were unable to admit them into the hospital, and as a result, they were unsure of where to go.
