According to her distraught father, Annabell Guadalupe Rodriguez was identified as one of the victims who passed away as a result of the mass shooting that took place at an elementary school in Texas.
At least 19 students and two instructors were murdered when the suspected shooter, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, opened fire on Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, a tiny working-class town close to the Mexico border. Ramos was arrested and charged with capital murder.
According to information released Wednesday by the Texas Department of Public Safety, all of the victims were found dead inside of a single classroom.
Annabell Guadalupe Rodriguez and her cousin, who has not been named at this time, were both found dead inside the classroom in which they were enrolled in the third grade.
Late Tuesday afternoon was spent searching for Annabell by her father, who had spent the whole day seeking for her. In an interview with KHOU11, he expressed his disappointment that no one knew where she was.
“They’re not letting us in at the hospital right now so we don’t know where to go,”
