Ben Robert Mason, a fullback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, was born on May 25, 1999. The Baltimore Ravens selected him in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft after he played college football for Michigan.



During his first season at Michigan, Mason participated in every game on special teams and also scored two touchdowns on the ground as a fullback.

He had a lot of playing time as a fullback as a sophomore and ran for 80 yards and seven touchdowns on 33 runs, added one reception for 15 yards, and made seven special teams stops.

In Michigan’s 56-10 victory over Nebraska to open conference play, he scored three touchdowns. Mason started his junior season as the starting defensive lineman after being switched during spring workouts.

One month into the season, he was switched back to fullback and tight end and largely utilized as a blocker. Senior Mason hauled in two catches for 17 yards and a score.

The Baltimore Ravens selected Mason in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft with the 184th overall choice. Mason committed to the Ravens on May 12, 2021. On August 31, 2021, he was discharged.

Mason was added to the New England Patriots practice squad on September 1, 2021. On November 8, 2021, he was freed.

The Chicago Bears added Mason to their practice squad on December 7, 2021. Mason joined the Ravens on January 21, 2022, under a reserve/future contract.
