Michael Hermosillo happens to be one of the professional baseball players from America who currently plays as an outfielder for the Chicago Cubs baseball team of Major League Baseball. Michael was born on January 17, 1995, in Mesa, Arizona in the USA.
He played baseball at Ottawa Township High School in Ottawa, Illinois. After high school, he had wanted to attend the University of Illinois to play college baseball but he was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 28th round of the 2013 draft. He chose to sign with the Angels rather than attend the University of Illinois.
The Angels made him make his professional debut that year with the Arizona League Angels. He spent the 2014 season with the Orem Owlz and 2015 with both the Orem and the Burlington Bees. For the 2016 season, he was with the Burlington and the Inland Empire 66ers. In 2017, he was assigned to play with the Inland Empire and was later promoted to the Mobile BayBears and Salt Lake Bees.
Michael made it to Angel’s 40-man roster after the 2017 season and he made his MLB debut on May 18, 2018, for the Angels. The Chicago Cubs signed him on a minor league contract in 2020.
