Did Slade Bolden get drafted in the NFL?

Slade Bolden, a former wide receiver for the Alabama Crimson Tide, did not get a chance to hear his name called during the 2022 NFL draft.

Instead, he became an undrafted free agent for the Baltimore Ravens and signed a contract with them.

The Baltimore Ravens ended up acquiring a total of five undrafted free agent wide receivers after trading wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to the Arizona Cardinals.

When it came to the location where Bolden was supposed to land, there were several jokes. It almost felt like a scenario that was too good to be true for him to find himself in the hands of Bill Belichick, the head coach of the New England Patriots.

After all, Bolden did mention that Patriots legend Julian Edelman had a major influence on the way he plays the game, and Edelman was a receiver for the Patriots.

Bolden will be able to work himself into a nice role as a member of the Baltimore Ravens for a number of reasons, despite the fact that he was unable to join his former teammates Jameson Williams and John Metchie in getting drafted. Williams and Metchie were both wide receivers at the University of Alabama.

Slade Bolden had a brilliant career as a quarterback when he was still in high school. When Bolden first arrived in Alabama, he did not really have a position when he first arrived.

He competes in athletics. The organization evaluated him for a number of positions, including safety and wide receiver, but ultimately decided to use him an as wide receiver.
