Adriel Jeremiah Green is a wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. After playing college football at Georgia, he was selected fourth overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2011 NFL Draft. He spent the previous ten seasons with the Bengals before signing with the Cardinals.

Green was the first Bengals receiver to make the Pro Bowl as a rookie in eight years when he did so in 2012. He went on to earn seven more Pro Bowl appearances with the Bengals throughout the course of his career.

Green set the record for most passes caught by a player in his first three seasons in the NFL with 260 receptions between 2011 and 2013, which was later surpassed by Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. (288). There have been six seasons in which he has accumulated at least 1,000 receiving yards.



After a successful career with the Bengals, Green signed with the Cardinals in 2021. He ranked second all-time for the Bengals in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions, behind only Chad Johnson.

Woodrow Green, a steelworker and truck driver, and Dora Green, a clerk at a Walmart, are Green’s parents. A. J. lost his only sibling, an older brother named Avionce, in a vehicle accident that also crippled his aunt on the way to a school carnival when he was only four years old.

Green, who was a member of the juggling squad at his elementary school, claimed to have started juggling in the second grade in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Green stated that he could juggle up to four objects simultaneously and that this talent helped him develop his hand-eye coordination.
