Ben Robert Mason, a fullback with the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens, was born on May 25, 1999. In the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected him from Michigan’s collegiate football program.



Mason participated on special teams and ran for two touchdowns as a fullback during his first season at Michigan. He had a lot of action as a fullback in his sophomore season, rushing for 80 yards and seven scores on 33 attempts, adding one reception for 15 yards and seven special teams tackles.

In Michigan’s opening conference game victory against Nebraska, 56-10, he scored three touchdowns. During spring practices, Mason was switched to defensive tackle, and he started his junior season as a starter.

One month into the season, he was switched back to fullback and tight end, where he primarily served as a blocker. As a senior, Mason caught two passes for 17 yards and a score.

The New England Patriots added Mason to their practice squad on September 1, 2021. In 2021, on November 8th, he was liberated.

Mason was added to the Chicago Bears’ practice squad on December 7, 2021.

Mason joined the Ravens on a reserve/future contract on January 21, 2022.
