Adrian David Houser is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Milwaukee Brewers in Major League Baseball.



Houser was born on February 2, 1993, in the United States (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2015.

During the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft, the Houston Astros selected Houser in the second round, placing him 69th overall.



Prior to this, he had promised that he would play collegiate baseball for the Oklahoma Sooners. Before being promoted to the Corpus Christi Hooks,

Houser had played for the Tri-City Valley Cats, the Quad Cities River Bandits, and the Lancaster JetsHawks.

On July 30, 2015, Houser was included in a deal that sent Carlos Gómez and Mike Fiers to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Houser.

On September 26, 2015, he played for the first time in the main leagues. In 2016, he pitched the entirety of the season for Biloxi, making 13 starts and compiling a record of 3-7 with a 5.25 earned-run average.

Because of injuries, he was only able to pitch 17.2 innings in 2017, which was much below his career average.

In 2018, he had a record of 6–7, a 3.72 earned run average, 117 strikeouts in 111.1 innings worked, and a total of 117.1 innings pitched.

In 2021, he blasted his first home run in the major leagues against Daniel Castano, who pitched for the Miami Marlins.
