Héctor Neris was born on June 14, 1989, and is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball.

He used to be a member of the Major League Baseball’s Philadelphia Phillies. He was signed as a free agent by the Phillies in 2010, and he debuted in the main leagues in 2014.

Neris was signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia Phillies on May 28, 2010. In 41.2 innings with the Dominican Summer League Phillies, he was 1-1 with five saves and a 3.24 ERA, striking out 34 batters and holding batters to a.199 batting average.
