Anthony Gose is an American professional baseball pitcher and outfielder for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He changed positions, from the center fielder to pitcher, following the 2016 season.
Bellflower High School in Bellflower, California, is where Gose went to high school. A senior year at the school’s baseball team saw him hit for the cycle, steal 31 bases and have a.443 batting average.
He also pitched for the team, reaching speeds of up to 97 mph (156 km/h). Gose was also a track and field athlete. He competed in the 100, 200, and 4 x 100 and 4 x 400-meter relays.
