Jordan Horton Lyles (born October 19, 1990) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Baltimore Orioles.

He played for the Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, San Diego Padres, Pittsburgh Pirates, Milwaukee Brewers, and Texas Rangers in the past.

Lyles was picked with the 38th overall choice in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft by the Houston Astros.

Lyles pitched in the Rookie-level Appalachian League after signing, striking out 64 batters in 49+23 innings. Lyles was ranked the Astros’ best pitching prospect by Baseball America in 2010.

He played in the All-Star Futures Game that season.

The contract of Lyles was bought by Houston on May 28, 2011. On May 31, he made his debut start for the Houston Astros at Wrigley Field.

In a 7–3 victory, he threw 7+ innings and only allowed one earned run. He also had the first hit of his career.

On August 3, 2011, Lyles won his first major league game against the Cincinnati Reds. He went 2–8 with a 5.36 ERA in his 2011 season with Houston.

On March 12, 2022, Lyles signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Baltimore Orioles.
