Rowan D. Wick (born November 9, 1992) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who pitches for the Chicago Cubs (MLB). He was formerly with the San Diego Padres.

Wick went to Carson Graham Secondary School in North Vancouver, British Columbia, and was selected in the 19th round of the 2010 MLB draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.

He chose to play collegiate baseball at St. John’s University instead of signing with the Brewers.



Wick switched to Cypress College after one year at St. John’s. During the summer of 2011, he was a member of the La Crosse Loggers of the college Northwoods League. In the ninth round of the 2012 MLB draft, he was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals.

Wick was sent to the Chicago Cubs for Jason Vosler on November 20, 2018. Wick pitched in 31 games for the Cubs in 2019, going 2-0 with a 2.43 ERA in 33.1 innings thrown. He walked 16 batters and struck out 35.

Wick pitched in 19 games for Chicago in the abbreviated 2020 season, with a 3.12 ERA in 17.1 innings pitched. With a left oblique injury, he was placed on injured reserve in September.

Wick had a left oblique intercostal strain on April 26, 2021, and was put on the 60-day disabled list. Due to the injury, he was out for the first four months of the season. Wick returned off the injury list on August 10th.

He had a 4.30 ERA while pitching. He was 1-0 with a 6.14 ERA in two starts for the South Bend Cubs and the Iowa Cubs.
