William Jesus Contreras was born on December 24, 1997, and now plays catcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball.

He is a Venezuelan professional baseball player. He made his debut in the major leagues on Opening Day for the Braves in the year 2020. In 2015, Contreras made his debut with the Braves organization after signing a contract with them.
