He played college football at LSU. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2018.
On May 5, 2018, Williams was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent after he was passed over during the 2018 NFL Draft. Williams had gone undrafted in that draft.
During his first season, Williams had a total of 13 carries for 44 rushing yards, three receptions for 27 receiving yards, and one receiving score. He also had one receiving touchdown.
Williams carried the ball eight times against the Detroit Lions in Week 4 of the 2019 season, gaining 13 yards and scoring two touchdowns. He also caught three catches for 43 yards, contributing to the team’s victory by a score of 34–30.
