Deatrich Wise Jr., a defensive end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League, is well-known in the sport of American football. On July 26, 1994, Deatrich Wise was born in Suffolk, Virginia, in the United States. He was known to have played baseball in college for Arkansas, and the Patriots had taken him in the fourth round of the 2017 draft.

During his college career days, he recorded eight combined tackles at the time with 1.5 sacks, four quarterbacks pressures, and a forced fumble at the time. According to the reports he was known to be one of the 59 defensive linemen who was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. On March 15, 2017, he was known to have opted to participate in Arkansas Pro Day.

He began his professional career with the New England Patriots where he was picked in the fourth round of the 131st overall of the year 2017 NFL Draft. His contract was a four-year $2.97 million. He was known to have recorded his first career sack against the Chiefs in the first game he featured in. During his rookie season, he recorded a finishing with 26 tackles and 5 sacks.
