Conor McDermott Contract, Salary and Net Worth

McDermott, an offensive lineman, signed a one-year contract with the Giants, which will pay him $1.3 million in basic salary in addition to a $250,000 signing bonus, as reported by Connor Hughes of The Athletic.

Only $200,000 of McDermott’s base salary for 2022 has been guaranteed by the Jets. With bonuses for playing time, he can add an additional $750,000.

For the previous three seasons, McDermott  largely served as a backup tackle for the Jets. In 2021, McDermott started three of New York’s final four games, and in the Jets’ Week 16 victory over the Jaguars, he even caught a one-yard touchdown pass on a trick play.



McDermott was placed on injured reserve on September 1st, 2021. On November 13, he was put into service.

McDermott scored his first touchdown of his professional career on December 26 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching a pass from Zach Wilson to increase the Jets’ lead in the contest.
