He went to a school in North Carolina for his undergraduate education and played collegiate football there. Ezeudu spent his childhood in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and received his high school education at Archer High School.

Both of his parents hail from Nigeria, where he also made his first appearance in the world. Ezeudu had the opportunity to play college football at Colorado State, Connecticut, and Missouri;

but, he decided to accept an invitation to play for North Carolina instead. Recruiting services ranked him as a three-star prospect for potential employees.

During his first year as a true freshman, Ezeudu played in only one game before deciding to sit out the rest of the season in order to receive a redshirt.

The Tar Heels moved him into the starting lineup for the left guard position in the middle of his redshirt freshman season.

This was his first season playing for North Carolina. After making 10 starts for his team during his redshirt sophomore season, Ezeudu was named to the third-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference.

The accolade came after he played in ten games for the team (ACC). In his junior year with the Tar Heels, he wore a redshirt and took part in all 12 of the team’s games.

As a result of his efforts, the All-ACC Honorable Mention team selected him. Ezeudu made the choice at the end of the season to announce that he will be entering the NFL Draft in 2022 rather than using his remaining collegiate eligibility.

He made this announcement after the season came to a close. Ezeudu was chosen by the New York Giants in the third round of the NFL Draft in 2022 when they had the 67th overall pick overall.
