Where did Tanner Gentry go to college?

Tanner Gentry, a wide receiver with the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills, was born on December 18, 1994.  Wyoming was his college football team, then in 2017, he signed a free agent contract with the Chicago Bears.

On May 11, 2017, Gentry agreed to terms with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent. On September 2, he was released, and the following day, he was added to the Bears’ practice squad.

Gentry was added to the roster of players that are currently playing on September 12.



Gentry made his NFL debut in Week 2 on September 17 and recorded two receptions for 27 yards in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 29-7 loss. He was re-signed to the Bears’ practice squad after being released on September 19, 2017.

Gentry joined the Buffalo Bills practice squad on January 4, 2021. Gentry and the Bills agreed to a reserves/futures deal on January 26, 2021.

Tanner Gentry agreed to accept a two-year, $1,775,000 contract with the Buffalo Bills, which also included a $10,000 signing bonus, $10,000 in guarantees, and an average annual salary of $887,500.
