Iván Herrera, full name Iván Aaron Herrera is a Panamanian professional baseball player known to play as a catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Iván is 1.80 m with a weight of 100 kg.



The St Louis Cardinals signed him as an international free agent in July 2016. He made his professional debut in 2017 when he was assigned to be with the Rookie League Dominican Summer League Cardinals where he played in over 49 games.

During the 2018 minor league season, he played for the Rookie League Gulf Coast Cardinals and also played in two games with the Springfield Cardinals of the Class AA Texas League at the end of the season. Iván began the 2019 season with the Peoria Chiefs of the Class A Midwest League after which he was promoted to the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League.

When the 2019 season ended, the Cardinals selected him to play in the Arizona Fall League with the Glendale Desert Dogs where he was named an All-Star. The Cardinals invited him to their 2020 spring training as a non-roster invitee.

Iván did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season. After the 2020 season, the Cardinals added him to their 40-man roster.
